Designing Queries in Access

This workshop is aimed at those who already use Access and want to design and manipulate queries. During the hands on 90 minute session you will learn how to extract meaningful and useful data from your database using Access’ querying tools.

Introduction to Forms and Reports

With forms you can tie together data from various tables into a single screen, making data entry and editing easy and quick. This workshop is intended for anyone who is interested in learning how to create and enhance forms and subforms with drop-down lists, command buttons, and calculated fields. It will also cover how to create and generate attractive reports to share with others.

Creating Charts in Excel

Learn just about everything there is to know about charts: how to create dynamic looking charts, edit and format, plus working with different chart types. With our bitesized workshops, creating and working with charts is easier than you think.

13:00–14:30

Excel Pivot Tables: get a handle on your data

Excel’s Pivot Tables enable you to quickly create concise reports from large data sets, spot trends by consolidating information and display results for multiple variable questions - plus you can easily create Pivot Charts to visually represent your data. Stop writing complicated formulas, creating multiple worksheets, and using Sort and Filter commands - and make Pivot Tables do the work for you!
